SENTIENT RUINS LECTURE SERIES

The studio engages in the contemporary materialist discourse which encourages tentacular thinking for architectural design to address ongoing concerns of climate change and ecological distress. Hybrid materials, multi-species habitat, renewability and adaptability of post-industrial ruined sites are some of the inquiries that drive the studio. In that context, the Sentient Ruins Lecture Series brings architects who are investigating similar questions as part of their practice; and have developed ecologically-responsive material-specific architectural strategies in their work.
